*"Louisville Blues" was composed by Bob Ricketts and Mike Jackson in 1921.
Jazz bandleader and composer W. C. Handy dubbed "Father of the Blues" (at least in its written form) leads his band for their recording of one popular blues song to which he could not claim ownership.
