The Lunatics Lullaby
The Seven Wild Men
Feat. Tom Stacks
Recorded in New York City on May 24th 1926 with personnel including Tom Stacks vocals, Earl Oliver trumpet, and Larry Abbott alto sax, Harry Reser banjo & leader.
This side was cut by the "Harry Reser Orchestra" appearing as "The Seven Wild Men".
After making the self-serving statement "Listen, we're not crazy" at the very beginning of the number Tom Stacks continues with this novelty performance containing lyrics which prove exactly the contrary.
Among his outrageous claims are that he can "boil a cake and drink a steak", pork comes from porcupines, and elephants can fly.
