Feat. Albert Brunies

Recorded in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 23rd 1925 featuring Albert Brunies and Henry Knecht cornet, Russ Papalia or Charles Hartman trombone, Tony Parenti clarinet & alto sax, Tony Papalia tenor sax, Vitale Lubowski piano, Mike Holloway banjo, Mario Finazzo tuba, and George Triay drums.

*"Dizzy Lizzy" was composed by Vitale Lubowski and Anthony Parenti.

The lead cornet is played by Albert Brunies, middle brother to George and Merritt, who were both famous New Orleans jazz men. There is an interesting apish effect on the part of tenor saxophonist Tony Papalia appearing in mid-performance, but the real show-stealer is the agile reed work of Parenti himself.
