This record was made in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 22nd 1925 with Henry Knecht and Albert Brunies cornets, Charles Hartman trombone, Tony Parenti director, clarinet, alto, & baritone sax, Tony Papalia tenor sax, Vic Lubowski piano, Mike Holloway banjo, Mario Finazzo tuba, and George Triay drums.

Childhood clarinet virtuoso Tony Parenti was born in 1900 in New Orleans where he played with various bands including those of Johnny De Droit and 'Papa' Jack Laine. Musically active since age twelve he later turned down an offer to join the "Original Dixieland Jazz Band" on their history making trip North. After making records with his band in the mid-'20s, Parenti left for New York at the end of the decade and went on to achieve his own world wide success.
