All Of Me
Ruth Etting
"America's Sweetheart of Song"
This recording was made in New York City during December 1931 featuring Ruth Etting vocals, with orchestral accompaniment.
*"All Of Me" was co-written by Seymour Simons and Gerald Marks.
Singing star of stage and screen Ruth Etting had over sixty hit recordings during the 1920's and '30's, and would come to be billed as "America's Sweetheart of Song". Among her many hits Ruth's early 1930's recording of pianists Seymour Simons and Gerald Marks' inevitable jazz standard "All Of Me" is perhaps the most memorable.
