Roger Wolfe Kahn & His Orchestra
"Crazy with Kahn"
In this excerpt from a 1932 film short the "Roger Wolfe Kahn Orchestra" play a medley of three "Crazy" numbers: "Crazy Rhythm", "You're Driving Me Crazy" and "Crazy People" .
When this film was originally produced in 1932 "Roger Wolfe Kahn's Orchestra" was a tremendous success as one of the most popular dance bands in New York and featured only the finest musicians. Included in the Orchestra are Charlie Teagarden and Mannie Klein trumpets, Artie Shaw clarinet, Ward Lay string bass, and Chauncey Morehouse drums. Also featured in this production is a young Bing Crosby, as a member of the vocal quartet singing "Crazy People".
