*"Jacksonville Blues" was written by Robert H. Cloud.

After spending much of the Summer of 1927 seeking talent in the Carolina's the Victor mobile recording unit arrived in Savannah, Georgia just in time to catch a number of favorable touring acts passing through the city including the "Jacksonville Harmony Trio". It was there at the end of August that this mainly vocal group, including pianist Mathew "Sugar" Underwood, would record four sides under the supervision of Ralph Peer for their debut session.
