This recording was made in New York City on May 6th 1921 by the "All Star Trio" featuring George Hamilton Green xylophone, Victor Arden piano, and Wheeler Wadsworth saxophone, with Orchestral accompaniment provided by the "Victor Studio Band".
*"I Like It" was composed by Irving Berlin.
This record was first to introduce "All By Myself" (also by Irving Berlin) as an incidental chorus.
"All By Myself" would later be added to "The Music Box Revue of 1922" debuting on stage at New York's Music Box Theater. Among the most popular recordings of the song in its full form all also produced in 1921 were releases by Ted Lewis, Frank Crumit, Vaughn De Leath, "Benny Krueger & His Orchestra", and Ernest Hare accompanied by the "Ben Selvin Orchestra".
