Recorded in New York City on July 21st 1924 featuring Phil Napoleon trumpet, Miff Mole trombone,
Jimmy Lytell clarinet, Frank Signorelli piano, Ray Kitchingman banjo and Jack Roth drums.

*"I'm Going Back To Those Who Won't Go Back On Me" was composed by ___?___ LaVine.

Formed in 1917 by Coney Island dance band veterans Phil Napoleon and Frank Signorelli the "Original Memphis Five" were among the most prolific of the early white jazz bands.

Their first record, produced in 1922 a short time after Nick La Rocca's nervous breakdown when the "Original Dixieland Jazz Band" had just broken-up, was actually released under his group's name with La Rocca's permission.

Frank Signorelli was the only member who had actually been in the "Original Dixieland Jazz Band".
