Ji-ji-boo
Nick Lucas' Ukulele Trio
Feat. David Rubinoff
This record was made in New York City in 1922 by the "Lucas' Ukulele Trio" featuring Frank Lucas ukulele, Nick Lucas ukulele & guitar, and David Rubinoff violin. (Nick switches from ukulele to guitar half way through.)
*"Ji-ji-boo" was composed by Harry White, Willy White, and Joe Meyers.
Russian born violinist David Rubinoff later became a major radio star of the 1930's playing his Stradivarius with his Orchestra on "The Chase and Sanborn Hour" followed by the launch of his own radio show in 1935.
