All Of Me
Louis Armstrong & His Orchestra
"Establishing a Jazz Standard"
This record was produced in Chicago on January 27th 1932 featuring Louis Armstrong trumpet & vocals, accompanied by his Orchestra.
*"All Of Me" was written by Gerald Marks and Seymour Simons in 1931.
Now a time honored jazz standard the song was first performed publicly by Belle Baker via radio broadcast and debuted on record in December 1931, as sung by Ruth Etting. It would come to be considered one of the most recorded songs of the 1930's performed by virtually every artist beginning with two top-drawer entertainers named Louis Armstrong and Bing Crosby.
