This footage of "Jack Teagarden and his Orchestra" was filmed in the early 1950's featuring Charlie Teagarden trumpet, Marvin Ashbaugh piano, and Ray Bauduc drums.
Ray, the son of cornetist Jules Bauduc, was originally from New Orleans where his career began playing with Johnny Bayersdorffer's band. He appeared on radio and recorded with the "Original Memphis Five", Joe Venuti, and the Dorsey Brothers, Ray Bauduc, but is best remembered for his time with the "Bob Crosby Orchestra" between 1935 and 1942.
