This side was produced in New York City on November 6th 1928 by "Jack Pettis & His Pets" featuring Irving Mills vocals & director, and Jack Pettis c-melody, alto sax, & leader, with unknown cornets, trombones, saxophones, tuba, banjo, piano, & drums.

*"Baby" was composed by Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields.

In 1928 Irving Mills became one of the first to record a racially integrated band, combining twelve white musicians with the "Duke Ellington Orchestra" for the production of a 12" 78 rpm disc featuring an historic performance of "St. Louis Blues".
