This record was cut in Richmond, Indiana on May 19th 1925 featuring Curtis Hitch director, Fred Rollison cornet, Jerry Bump trombone, Harry Wright clarinet Rookie Neal c-melody sax, Hoagy Carmichael piano, Maurice Mays banjo, Dewey Neal baritone sax, and Earl McDowell drums.

*"Boneyard Shuffle" was composed by Hoagy Carmichael.

This was Hoagy Carmichael's first recording, made when he was still studying law at Indiana University.

A variation of the tune was first recorded by Bix Beiderbecke with "The Wolverine Orchestra"
as "Riverboat Shuffle" the previous year.
