The Clicquot Club Eskimos
"Reser's Eskimos"
This side was recorded on March 8th 1926 in New York City by "The Clicquot Club Eskimos" under the direction of banjoist Harry Reser.
*"Always" was composed and published by Irving Berlin.
In 1925 banjo playing orchestra leader Harry Reser found fame as the director for NBC Radio's "Clicquot Club Eskimos Orchestra". He became quite well know in this new position, continuing with the weekly half-hour show sponsored by Clicquot Club ginger ale until 1935. Through the use of pseudonyms he was also able to head many other bands simultaneously.
