Recorded in New York City in May of 1925 featuring Harry Raderman trombone & leader.

*"The Flapper Wife" was composed by Carl Rupp, with words by Beatrice Burton.

This instrumental rendition of "The Flapper Wife" was made by trombonist "Harry Raderman's Jazz Orchestra" appearing as "The Red Hotters".

In 1925 Bernice Burton wrote the jazz age romance novel "The Flapper Wife", "The Story of A Jazz Bride" and also the words to a song of the same name. Two of her other books both published in 1926 "Footloose" (the sequel to "The Flapper Wife") and "Love Bound" would also share their titles with popular songs of the mid-1920's to which she did not write the lyrics.
