This recording was produced in Buffalo, New York during March of 1925 featuring Harry Tate trumpet, Herbert Diemer alto & bass sax, George West piano, Gilbert 'Gil' Roberts banjo, and Hurley Diemer drums.
*"Blues in A Minor" was composed by Harry Tate.
The "Blue Ribbon Syncopators" band of Buffalo, New York prominently featured saxophonist Willard Brown and a young banjo player by the name of Gil Roberts.
Roberts would tour more than twenty countries as a member of Louis Armstrong's band during the 1930s.
