Recorded in New York City on December 6th 1929 featuring featuring George Temple and Kenneth Roane trumpets, David "Jelly" James trombone, Fess Williams alto sax & leader, Bobby Holmes alto sax, Felix Gregory clarinet alto, & tenor sax, Perry Smith clarinet & tenor sax, Henry "Hank" Duncan piano, Ollie Blackwell banjo, Emanuel Casamore tuba, and Ralph Bedell drums.

*"Goin' To Get 'Cha" is credited to Professor Stanley 'Fess' Williams.

Set to the progression of Nick LaRocca's "Tiger Rag", Fess Williams takes the jazz staple to new heights at his peak with wild saxophone embellishment. Originally organized in 1926 and disbanded in the early '30's, the "Royal Flush Orchestra" held residency at Harlem's Savoy Ballroom for much of its existence.
