Hot Fingers
Blind Willie Dunn & Lonnie Johnson
Feat. Eddie Lang
This recording was made in New York City on October 9th 1929 featuring Lonnie Johnson and Eddie Lang (as Blind Willie Dunn) guitars.
*"Hot Fingers" was composed by Lonnie Johnson and Eddie Lang.
Demonstrative of a fast slippery string style this collaboration between the two guitarists marked a milestone in history as being one of the very first interracial recordings. American society, still extremely segregated at the time, wasn't ready to publicly accept such a recorded integration explaining Eddie's need for an alias.
