This side was recorded in New York City on April 16th 1921 featuring Earl Oliver trumpet, Tom Brown trombone, Alcide 'Yellow' Nunez clarinet, Bob Johnston alto sax, Ted Fiorito piano, Ed Violinsky violin, and George Hamilton Green drums.
*"Cherie" was composed by Irving Bibo and Percy Wenrich.
"The Happy Six" directed by Harry Yerkes and featuring New Orleans musicians Alcide "Yellow" Nuņez and Tom Brown were the same group of musicians who recorded as "Yerke's Jazarimba Orchestra." Notably their percussionist is ragtime xylophone innovator George Hamilton Green.
