"Swing Feeling", created in 1993 and led by French trumpeter Dan Vernhettes, is not a typical modern big band. Modeled loosely on bands of the 1930s, such as Al Coopers Savoy Sultans, the band is a compromise between typical big bands and the more flexible small groups. The band utilizes this extreme flexibility to their advantage.
