Good Little Bad Little You
Cliff Edwards
Feat. Andy Sannella
This recording was produced in New York City on September 21st 1928 with Cliff Edwards ukulele & vocals, Andy Sannella clarinet (& guitar?), Eddie Lang guitar, Joe Venuti violin, Arthur Schutt piano, and unknown string bass.
*"Good Little, Bad Little You" was composed by Bud Green, with lyrics by Sam Stept.
Following a reed intro the hot strings of Joe Venuti and Eddie Lang handle most of the accompaniment with a rhythmic comp on the ukulele proved by Cliff Edwards and perhaps the guitar of Sannella. The vocalist launches into one of his trademark vocalizations (emulating a horn) halfway through proceeded with more flawless strings.
