This recording was made in New York City on June 15th 1927 with Chelsea Quealey trumpet, Al Philburn trombone, Bobby Davis clarinet, soprano, & alto sax, Sam Ruby tenor sax, Adrian Rollini bass sax & goofus, Jack Russin piano, Tommy Fellini banjo, and Herb Weil drums.
"The Goofus Five" was a Pseudonym used by, "California Ramblers" off shoot "The Little Ramblers" when they recorded for Okeh.
