This record was made in New York City on August 20th 1925 with Arthur Hand violin and director, Frank Cush and Roy Johnston trumpet, Tommy Dorsey trombone, Bobby Davis clarinet, alto, & soprano sax, Ed Stannard alto sax, Freddy Cusick clarinet & tenor sax, Adrian Rollini bass sax, Irving Brodsky piano, Tommy Felline banjo, and Stan King drums.
*"Foot Loose" was composed by Carl Rupp, with words by Hal Cochran.
The "Dixie Jazz Band" was a pseudonym used for numerous releases by the "California Ramblers" on the Oriole and American labels.
