Bad Habits
Boyd Senter Trio
"The Jazzologist Supreme"
This recording was produced in New York City on March 20th 1928 featuring Boyd Senter clarinet, Eddie Lang guitar, and Jack Russell piano.
*"Bad Habits" was composed by Boyd Senter and Mel Stitzel.
As a Nebraskan farm boy Boyd Senter was inspired to pursue music by phonograph records of the "Original Dixieland Jass Band". He started out on piano and trumpet before finding his calling as a reed player when he switched to the clarinet. Successful; by the late 1920's Boyd was enjoying magnificent billing as "The Jazzologist Supreme".
