This side was recorded in New York City on September 8th 1927 featuring Irving Kaufman vocals, accompanied by the "Colonial Club Orchestra" under the direction of Bob Haring.

After making his first commercial recordings playing waltzes as the leader of the "Regent Club Orchestra" for Brunswick in 1925 Bob Haring began leading the "Colonial Club Orchestra" in May of the following year. It was then that he would establish himself as a dance band director known for his elegant fox-trots, lush with strings.

This group would focus the majority of their musical efforts on fox-trot dance music played in an elegant style, with the occasional tango or waltz. During July 1926, Haring appeared on the label for the first time under his own name and with that the "Bob Haring Orchestra" was born. In all of his recordings, Haring emphasized a classy society sound through the extensive use of stringed instruments (such as a violin section) to carry the melody. This is especially evident in his elegant waltzes issued under the "Regent Club Orchestra" name.
