Wringin' and Twistin'
Tram, Bix, & Lang
Feat. Bix Beiderbecke
This recording was produced in New York City on September 17th 1927 with Bix Beiderbecke cornet & piano, Frank Trumbauer c-melody sax, and Eddie Lang guitar.
*"Wringin' and Twistin'" was composed by Frankie Trumbauer and Thomas "Fats" Waller.
On this magical 1927 date held four months after the trio's first recorded pairing on "For No Reason at All in C", Frankie Trumbauer takes the initial solo followed by Eddie Lang. Like their other offering Bix once again spends much of his time on the piano, picking up his cornet only at the coda.
