Recorded in New York City in October 25th 1927 featuring Bix Beiderbecke cornet, Bill Rank trombone, Don Murray clarinet, Frank Signorelli piano, Adrian Rollini bass sax, and Chauncey Morehouse drums.

*"Since My Best Gal Turned Me Down" was composed by Howard "Howdy" Quicksell and Raymond Lodwig.

Howard (or "Howdy") Quicksell was a banjo player who frequently performed and recorded with small groups led by Bix Beiderbecke and Frankie Trumbauer. The banjoist had become acquainted with Bix and Tram initially as his fellow members in the "Jean Goldkette Orchestra". The other credited author of this song Ray Lodwig was a trumpeter who, at the time, was also employed by none other than the "Goldkette" band.
