Feat. Benny Krueger
& Nathan Glantz

This record was made in New York City on August 6th 1925 featuring Ben Selvin director, Hymie Farberman and Earl Oliver trumpets, Sam Lewis trombone, Nathan Glantz and Benny Krueger clarinet & alto sax, Larry Abbott clarinet & tenor sax, Lew Cobey piano, Harry Reser banjo, and John Helleberg tuba.

The "Manhattan Dance Makers" name was a pseudonym for the "Ben Selvin Orchestra". Originally a violinist, Selvin probably made more records than any other bandleader of the 78 rpm era.

Here Nathan Glantz, a saxophonist and well recorded New York bandleader in his own right, is paired with fellow early jazz saxophone star Benny Krueger. -Glantz is reported to have played his saxophones for over one-hundred different recording sessions held between 1916 and 1927.
