In the 1929 Vitaphone short "Ben Pollack & His Park Central Orchestra" Ben Pollack and his band perform a set of three songs for the camera.

Conducted by vocalist Ben Pollack, the other members of his band are Jimmy McPartland trumpet & vocals, Ruby Weinstein trumpet, (a 20 year old) Benny Goodman plays clarinet, alto, and baritone sax, with his brother Harry Goodman on string bass, Larry Binyon, clarinet, tenor, soprano sax, & flute, Gil Rodin clarinet, alto, baritone, & soprano sax, William Schumann cello, Ed Bregman and Al Beller violins, Vic Briedis piano, Dick Morgan guitar & vocals, Ray Bauduc drums, and Jack Teagarden who not only plays trombone but also sings in his own inimitable way. He even plays vibraphone.

The selections they perform are as follows: "California Echoes", "My Kind Of Love", and
"Song of the Island".
