Feat. John Ryan & Arthur Hall

Recorded in New York City on December 10th 1925 featuring John Ryan and Arthur Hall vocals, Earl Oliver and Chelsea Quealey (or Jack Stillman) trumpets, Sammy Lewis trombone, Nathan Glantz alto, soprano sax, & director, Ken "Goof" Moyer clarinet, alto, soprano, & baritone sax, ? Freddy Cusick clarinet, tenor, & soprano sax, Irving Brodsky (or Frank Banta) piano, Harry Reser banjo, Joe Tarto bass brass, and Stan King (or Herb Weil) drums.

*"Smile A Little Bit" was composed by Bob Morton and Peggy Shevlin, with words by Moe Schenck.

On this record the band perform a Bob Haring stock arrangement that seems to have been spruced up a bit by either Harry Reser or Nathan Glantz.

Issued on Edison Diamond the "Tennessee Happy Boys" provide a very funny vocal duet courtesy of Johnny Ryan and Arthur Hall.

This band name was actually a common pseudonym used by the "Nathan Glantz Orchestra" until the final session that was released under the billing, cut on June 17th 1926 by an entirely different non-Glantz ensemble.
