Recorded in New York City in June 1922 by Harry Yerkes' "Majestic Saxophone Sextette" featuring Arthur Hall vocals, Nathan Glantz alto sax, and possibly Ross Gorman soprano sax, and Rudy Wiedoeft c-melody sax, with other personnel unknown.

*"Nobody Lied" was composed by Edwin J. Weber, with lyrics by Karyl Norman.

In response to Victor Records huge success with the novelty saxophone group the "Six Brown Brothers", bandleader Harry Yerkes' organized the "Majestic Saxophone Sextet" in 1916 for the Columbia label.

Known alternately as the "Columbia Saxophone Sextette" the group featured a number of famous reed men.
