Led by Alex Mendham, the "Alex Mendham Orchestra" is a British dance band specializing in dance music of the 1920's and 1930's. They are the Savoy Hotel's resident dance band in London performing monthly at dinner dances and their New Year's Eve ball.

Among the most popular vintage dance orchestras in Britain Mendham's band released their debut album "Whistling in the Dark" in January 2013, followed by "Jazznocracy!" in 2015.
