This side was cut in Chicago October 2nd 1928 with Punch Miller trumpet & vocals, Albert Wynn trombone, Lester Boone clarinet & alto sax, William Barbee piano, Charlie Jackson guitar, and Ben Thigpen drums.
*"Down By The Levee" was composed by Albert Wynn.
Wynn was a fine trombonist well known for his broad tone, who worked with various Chicago big bands thru the 1920's. Later he toured Europe with "Sam Wooding's Chocolate Kiddies" and others during the early 1930's.
