Recorded in New York City on January 30th 1930 by "Bert Lown's Hotel Biltmore Orchestra" featuring Smith Ballew vocals, with Frank Cush and Eddie Farley trumpet, Al Philburn trombone, Elmer Feldkamp clarinet & alto sax, and Larry Tice clarinet & alto sax, Paul Mason clarinet & tenor sax, Adrian Rollini bass sax, Mac Ceppos violin, Chauncy Grey piano, Tommy Felline guitar, Merrill Kline bass brass, and Stan King drums.

On a memorable January 1930 session "Bert Lown's Hotel Biltmore Orchestra" are joined in the studio by extremely popular crooner Smith Ballew for their up-tempo rendition of a song about rejection. On this side the original "Hotel Biltmore" dance band of 1930 can be heard in top form with an emphasis on the expert violin of Mac Ceppos. Adrian Rollini also makes his presence well known with a solo and a series of brief instrumental fills starting at the very beginning of the record. Featured singing star Smith Ballew is equally unmatched on this selection as he sings of the heartbreak and frustration brought about by unrequited love.
