The New York City based traditional jazz band "Jessy Carolina and The Hot Mess" formed in 2008. Since then they have toured up and down the East Coast and in 2012 journeyed overseas performing in Denmark, Germany, Romania, and Israel. Other onetime members of the band not preset at this performance are pianist and banjo player Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton, and trumpeter Satoru Ohashi.
