Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams
Scandinavian Rhythm Boys
"Live in Bronshoj, Denmark"
The "Scandinavian Rhythm Boys" appear at Kulturhuset Pilegarden in Bronshoj, Denmark on February 24th 2015 featuring Soren Kirk trumpet, Michael Boving banjo & vocals, Frans Sjostrom bass sax, and Ole Olsen string bass. -Filmed by Flemming Thorbye
*"Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams" was written by Harry Barris, with lyrics by Ted Koehler and Billy Moll.
The band perform a classic first introduced by Big Crosby and turned into an instant jazz standard by Louis Armstrong all in 1931. Their sound expresses a real warmth and fullness uncommon to a quartet facilitated through the use of two bass instruments set to the consistent strum of Michael's banjo. -To hear the original recording by Louis Armstrong Click Here.
